"Artists Rene Rocha and Courtney McWhirter will present artwork created in their first year out of the academic environment. The works created in makeshift studios reflect the artists’ tenacious spirit and desire to continue being productive artists. Each artist will present work addressing the issues of religion, politics, and self-portrait in the forms of paintings and collage." -Rene Roche

The opening reception will be held on Friday, March 7th, 2008 from 6 -9 PM at 1705 Texas Ave in the ANNEX2. This exhibition will be on view from the 7th of March until the 28th of March by appointment only. This event is part of the First Friday Art Trail, it is Free and Open to the Public.
